As a Story Selector, you will play a crucial role in the UNSILENCED Anthology Project by reviewing and choosing among the many powerful and poignant stories submitted by survivors. Your discerning eye and empathetic understanding will help us identify and highlight diverse qualities in these stories, ensuring that we feature a rich collection of voices. This role requires sensitivity, impartiality, and a deep appreciation for personal narratives.
Provide guidance and support to survivors as they articulate their experiences, helping them craft their stories with clarity and emotion.
As a Writing Coach, you will guide survivors through the process of articulating their experiences for the anthology. Your expertise in writing and storytelling will empower contributors to express their journeys in ways that are both authentic and healing. Ideal candidates should have a background in writing or literature and possess strong interpersonal skills to support participants in a respectful and encouraging manner.
As a licensed professional in psychology, therapy, or counseling, you will facilitate virtual or in-person workshops and provide specialized support tailored to address the complex emotional and psychological effects of abuse.
You will offer survivors a safe space to process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and continue the path of healing and recovery.
Your expertise is crucial in ensuring the well-being of our contributors, supporting them safely and effectively throughout their storytelling journey.
Collaborate in the editing process to ensure that each story is presented with the utmost care and respect, preserving the authenticity and integrity of each voice.
Editors in the UNSILENCED Anthology Project will refine and polish the selected stories, ensuring clarity, coherence, and grammatical correctness while maintaining the author’s voice and intent.
Ideal volunteers will have strong editing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the sensitivity to handle personal narratives with care.
Contribute to the development and implementation of promotional strategies across various channels to maximize the anthology's reach and impact.
As a member of the Marketing Team, you will develop and implement strategies to promote the UNSILENCED Anthology Project. Responsibilities include creating marketing materials, managing social media accounts, engaging with media, and developing outreach programs to raise awareness and support for the project.
This role suits those with experience in marketing, public relations, or digital media.
As an Event Planner for the UNSILENCED Anthology Project, you will play a key role in organizing and coordinating virtual and in-person events that not only launch our book and promote awareness but most importantly, honors the survivors and their families.
Your responsibilities will include creating memorable experiences that engage supporters and the public, ensuring that each event respectfully celebrates the courage and resilience of the survivors.
Your creativity and organizational skills are essential for ensuring that events run smoothly, achieve their goals of community engagement, and enhance the visibility of the project. Prior experience in event planning, coordination, and management is highly preferred.
